Now, as we have ended all the PBL session, it is time to write our reflection. We started at the beginning of the term and finished towards the end of it. In this process we researched, contacted, got together, prepared a poster etc. Moreover, occasionally I chose saying "our" or "us" in lieu of "my" or "me". Below, you can find my own reflection, meaning what I gained and learned from this process.
- I faced the hardship of the group work. It taught me something about the diffuculties of studying together such as importance of contribution, negotiation and even sometimes mediation.
- I learned how to prepare a poster via using Power Point as well as how to design and handpick the necessary information.
- The day of Power Point presentation, we presented our slideshow to the Route 3 students. This also contributed to the development of our confidence
-I also learned how to present our posters to public, at least to the Sabancı members. That presentation day nicely forced us to speak, which also contributed to the fluency of our speaking and other skills of speaking and presenting.
However,
-I think the session of the PBL was quite long. Unnecessarily long process also made me bored a lot, sometimes and this caused distraction on me. I sometimes didn't really work on PBL since the process has several vain points.
-Finally, I think that the number of the group members should be reduced for easier and more efficient work and the time that spared for PBL should be diminished as well.
